"We are failing our ancestors, our kids can't speak or understand Tamil"

This is a common concern I get from parents struggling to teach their mother tongue to their children.

As a Tamil researcher and educator, I have had the privilge of conversing with educators, scholars, and researchers around the globe.

And it appears there are some key factors parents are overlooking when it comes to language retention.

That is why this June I am hosting a panel discussion on how to get your kids interested in Tamil.
