The various forms of oppression faced by Tamils have left the community with fragmented narratives and cultural disempowerment. As a Tamil-Canadian, founder Kasthuree Thiyakalingam saw that despite efforts at language and cultural preservation, many in the diaspora feel disconnected from their roots because the foundational principles of Tamil heritage remain inaccessible or underrepresented.

Through research, storytelling, and community, Kasthuree is on a mission to rediscover and reintroduce these ideas - not to claim the Tamil way of life is flawless, but to give the global community the knowledge and context to engage critically, ask questions, and form their own connections to heritage.
